The foot in the human body is one of the most frequently used locomotor organs. One of the activities that use the body organ feet is walking. Gait is one of the most common activities carried out by humans. Not only for mobility and moving places, but gait is also used by many people as a means of exercise or sport since it is considered by many to be easy and cheap to do. Therefore, using the feet for walking or anything else cannot be separated from the daily life of all human beings. There are many foot disorders that can cause abnormal walking patterns and posture which may cause pain, one of which is flatfoot. This disorder causes the arch of the foot to drop so that all (or almost all) of the sole of the foot is in contact with the ground. Many factors influence the shape of the foot, although it is not easy to define individually, these factors cause the deformation of the foot. This research aims to examine the differences between individuals with a normal foot arch and those with flatfoot. The investigation involves a comparative analysis of kinematic parameters in both groups, alongside an evaluation of muscle activity obtained through surface electromyography (sEMG). The outcomes will be illustrated through graphical representations, facilitating direct comparison and detailed interpretation of the observed patterns. The study will conclude with a conclusion of the findings, highlighting the key results and their implications.
