In this globalization era has brought competitive pressure to the business activities around the world. Porter (1990) said that national prosperity is created not inherited. This condition brought that we need new type of industry that can make a competitive advantage to this nation. Florida (2002) said that in the new economic era; competitive advantages depend on the quality of creativity and initiation, design and technical ability, deep conceptualization, and ability to deal with fast change. The current condition shows that music industry is the leading industry on creative industry. Based on Dinas Perdagangan Republik Indonesia's research, the condition was supported by: • Creative music industry have the higher growth than the other creative industry (18.06% in 2002-2006) • 80% market share on music industry is occupied by Indonesian music. • Indonesian music has been approved and sale at other country, like Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Singapore. • High playing ratio on television and radio •High frequency of concert on television or off-air, even the concert hall not good enough. This study talking about how the rich picture of creative music industry in Bandung, and how to bring this industry to their potential throughout several analysis data and tools, like stakeholders analysis, value chain analysis and diamond of porter model. In this study, in-depth interview has been used to 10 informants from five stakeholders by recommendation from various stakeholders. This study succesfully described the rich picture of creative music industry and also identify the potential or problems that exist on the creative music industry in this town. This study also identify how each stakeholder's reaction about collaboration and how to achieve that.
