Business is competition. Not only for new brand, incumbent brand also involved within competition. According to Tracey & Wiersema, incumbent brand have to implement three disciplines of market leader: operational excellence, customer intimacy and product leadership. It mean every brand should continuously developing. Based on Kotler, new brand should do something different or new when they penetrate market.
