The implementation of sustainability audits in a company allows for the identification of various deficiencies that can be managed and improved by the organization. The objective of this thesis is to identify the necessary factors for the audit that align with the principles of sustainability. This research also aims to develop a business sustainability audit application that identifies and considers the relative weights of factors and employs a scoring method based on the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The output includes a Sustainability Audit Index and a classification of factors using ABC Analysis. The development of this application addresses the lack of free software capable of conducting audits using the AHP method and resulting in scoring and factor contribution analysis. Through analytical tools, factors corresponding to the triple bottom line have been identified. These factors are applicable across all sectors and include: compliance with environmental regulations, employee health and safety standards, carbon footprint monitoring and reduction, legal compliance, financial stability, waste management and recycling compliance, product safety and quality standards, and employee training and development. These eight factors align with the triple bottom line and are the most suitable parameters for the audit. The chosen platform for developing the application is Streamlit, selected for its simplicity and user-friendliness in creating applications of this nature. The application successfully implements the Sustainability Audit Algorithm using the AHP method to calculate the Sustainability Audit Index. By validating its calculations against other applications, the developed tool demonstrates precise and comparable results to existing solutions in the market. In conclusion, using custom source code with Streamlit as an application development tool, it has been proven that this tool can effectively serve as a sustainability audit application. By applying the AHP method in auditing, it ensures inclusivity across all sectors, facilitates the identification of root causes of issues, and aids companies in determining which factors to assess for achieving future sustainability.
