This study aims to optimize the hydraulic fracturing design in the Telisa Formation, Y Field, Sumatra, through comprehensive simulation and economic assessment. The primary focus is to enhance oil well productivity by conducting sensitivity analyses on key parameters such as fracturing fluid type, proppant composition, and pump rates. Advanced simulation techniques using specialized software are employed to model various fracturing scenarios, followed by nodal analysis to identify optimal operating conditions. The study evaluates different fracturing fluids, including YF120HTD, YF160HTD, and Clear Fract Fluid, as well as various proppant types, Carbolite, Brady, and RCS. Among these analysis, YF160HTD at a pump rate of 16 bpm was found to be the most effective, achieving a propped fracture half-length of 197.2 feet, a propped width of 0.113 inches, and an effective Fracture Conductivity (FCD) of 1.7. The results demonstrate significant improvements in Fold of Increase (FOI) which value 1.95 and effective fracture geometry, indicating that optimized fracturing designs can lead to more efficient and productive oil extraction processes. The economic analysis reveals that this scenario yields the highest Net Present Value (NPV) of $0.1239 and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 46.51%. This methodology integrates technical and economic considerations to provide a holistic approach to hydraulic fracturing optimization in Telisa formation, Y Field.
