Abstract: Study about temporal variation of sea surface is one of the studies area in Geodesy and Oceanography. Satellite altimetry technology is an appropriate technology to monitor the global sea surface. Geodesy usually works with the spatial or temporal discret data set. The sea level data derrived from altimetry satellite is discrete. One of methods which is used for estimating the variable of interest at unsampled locations based on known values called interpolation. The process of interpolating altimetry data is in the gridding process. Different results will be produced if we use different methods. There are many methods of interpolating data. In this paper five different interpolation methods will be used and compared.
