The article offers information on the art history. Topics discussed include art-historical analysis based on thinking with and through objects as painter Yve-Alain Bois mentioned painting as model; it mentions that the author believed in transparency of information in both the art world and academic art history, and too little careful attention of the opacities of painted, molded, enacted, and digitally recorded art stuff; and the conceptual art of the press release and art history without art was fearful.
