This study addresses schedule overruns in offshore oil and gas EPCI projects caused by the reactive limitations of conventional Critical Path Method (CPM) networks and S-curve tracking. By analyzing historical execution data from the Area B Extension Project, the research identifies key Early Warning Indicators (EWIs), specifically engineering review backlogs and unverified fabrication progress. To resolve these bottlenecks, a hybrid framework is developed by embedding micro level Agile tools, including two week sprints, visual Kanban boards with Work in Progress (WIP) limits, and cross functional Adaptive Action Plans, directly into macro level CPM schedule governance. Theoretical validation across near critical 3D modeling and zero float critical path process deliverables shows that the framework detects emerging delays up to 33 days earlier, preserves schedule float, eliminates the risks of downstream teams working on unapproved data, and prevents reactive project rebaselining.
