Reservoir "F" has been in production from 1975 up to 2020 and has reached a total recovery factor of 23.55% since then. This value can definitely be improved. To find out which method is best for the development of Reservoir "F," an initial analysis to identify the drive mechanism of the reservoir should be done, along with the OOIP. It does the determination of the drive mechanism by two methods: qualitative reservoir behavior analysis and the Ganesh Thakur method. The qualitative method is done by analyzing parameters such as pressure and the oil, water, and gas production rate against the production time. The Ganesh Thakur method is done by plotting a graph of cumulative production against OOIP and reservoir pressure against initial pressure, then matching the plotted graph to the Ganesh Thakur graph with a similar trendline. The simulator decides on the determination of Original Oil In Place (OOIP) in the reservoir. The simulator consists of a number of steps: data input, PVT matching, and history matching. Having obtained a history matching graph which is considered well-matched, it will show the value of OOIP. In history matching, sensitivity analysis needs to be performed on various parameter values to obtain a good match. These parameters include reservoir thickness, reservoir radius, outer/inner ratio, encroachment angle, and aquifer permeability. Results indicate that Reservoir "F" has a combination drive mechanism of a solution gas drive and a water drive mechanism. Calculated OOIP using the simulator is determined as 41.398 MMSTB.
