Application of heat pipe become heatsink for prosessor quad core was made and evaluted in thisresearch. Four U heatpipe were installed in pararel manner to flat plate, each pipes were had with outlet diameter of 6.4 mm, thickness of 0.5 mm and lenght 360m. The condenser area were equipped with flat frame connected with four heatpipe made from aluminium plate with thickness of 0.5 mm. For increase the work fluid flow, heatpipe were installed wick from stainless steel SS 304, 50 mesh. Four work fluid : Acheton, Methanol, R-600Aa, R-134a already were eksperimented for was requisited and resulted R-600Aa and R-134a were can for work. Installing heatsink in CPU was variated from horizontal to vertical position for influence to performance heatsink. The result theoretical and experimental were an angle 30° from horizontal, was increased 20% for heat transfer. The invention form new idea in application heatpipe for heatsink CPU so it was recommended for application to the new generation heatsink were need large capacity.
