ABSTRACT: The growth of urban population leaves the remaining area to be planted decreasing. The urge to build homes on this remaining area makes the environmental balance no longer the primary concern. Every inch of land is hunted. Building constructions compete with the growing population. Even when it is difficult to get alternatives, the constructions still being continued. The goals of this research are : Determining the criteria of plants suitable for urban condition. Determining the kinds of plant suitable to be bred in urban area. The expected result of research are criteria of plants adaptable in urban conditions and recommendation of plants suitable to be bred in urban area.
