This research examines Biofarma's Cold Chain Vaccine Distribution System in
Indonesia's COVID-19 pandemic technology-policy synergy. This study seeks to
quantify the real and intangible advantages of technology-policy integration, evaluate the
system's impact on vaccine delivery timing and quantity, and analyse vaccine quality
throughout Indonesia's different regions. The study used a qualitative approach to
interview 18 Indonesian provincial officials to determine how technology and policy
integration affect vaccination distribution. Results showed numerous major patterns: 1)
Technological backbone, where automation has transformed vaccine distribution
coordination and precision; 2) Operational revolution, where operational efficiency and
adaptability were improved; 3) Regional nuances, where unique regional challenges and
factors affecting distribution system efficacy were identified; and 4) Vaccine
safeguarding, where real-time monitoring and transparent inventory management insured
vaccine safety. These patterns properly convey the facts, highlighting the importance of
technology and policy integration in COVID-19 vaccine delivery. The report emphasises
the need to align technology and policy to address obstacles and improve vaccine
distribution, contributing to the COVID-19 response and future global humanitarian
operations.
