MoEMR performance report 2023 shows that the oil demand has increased for the past three years, while the oil production has decreased. Therefor, EOR implementation is one of the solutions to meet the independence energy. LSWI is one of the most interesting water-based EOR because of the benefits such as lower cost, environmental favorable, and easy to implemented. Discussions over the primary mechanism of LSWI continue to this day. The purpose of this study is to find the optimum number, placement, pattern of producer and injector well at “B” structure in “S” field. Furthermore, this study will see the effect of different CEC calculation methods. This study was carried out based on published research, simulations using CMG software, and the CEC calculation method by Juhasz, Neuman, and Da Silva. The result of this study shows that the optimum field development case is using peripheral injection pattern with five producer and five injector wells. The best scenario's oil recovery is 79.26%, which is 19% more than the base case. The CEC calculation method appears to have an impact on cumulative oil depends on the range and average.
