The production decline is being main issue faced by most likely oil and gas field in Indonesia. According to the data from Ministry of Energy and Mineral resource 2021 (ESDM, 2021), oil production in Indonesia has decreased around 5 % per year from 2016. Among all the short-term treatment, stimulation job is frequently performed by the industry during the well lifetime especially acid stimulation. However, the failure of acid stimulation is mainly caused by lack consideration of choosing the most potential candidate for acidizing. Therefore, this study is conducted to provide a comprehensive analysis of well-performance criteria such production decline, productivity index, and skin throughout digital tools to select the most appropriate well for acidizing job. The selection model is built using stimulation data from 2020-2022 from field X with decision-tree approaches that offer simple and reliable results. The interface of this digitized tool is web-based application that required three databases for the analysis include (i) production history data, (II) well test data, and (III) petrophysics data. In detail, this tool consists of three modules throughout the process, (I) Detecting wells with downward trend of production and productivity, (II) Selecting the potential candidate well for acidizing treatment using conventional decision-tree and Classification and Regression Tree (CART) algorithm (III) Giving recommendations of the most compatible acid type based on expert guideline. The result show from 59 oil well sample in the Field X, 28 is diagnosis performing the production decline. For further analysis, both decision method compared to predict the potential well. Conventional decision-tree show more preferable result with 85% accuracy while CART only achieve 67% accuracy.
