In pursuit of Indonesia's ambitious goal to achieve 1 MMbpd of oil and 12 BSCF of gas production, Company "X" proposes an oil development project. This study takes parts addressing critical challenges in multiphase flow analysis and surface modeling for optimizing production. The research focuses on determining the most suitable multiphase pressure drop correlation for Company "X” specific conditions. A comparative analysis of liquid rate and flowing bottomhole pressure (FBHP) errors is conducted across various correlations using sample well data to identify the best-performing model. Additionally, the study tackles the idea of predicting flowing bottom hole pressure data in certain wells. A method for predicting flowing bottomhole pressure (FBHP Prediction) is proposed using the best-fit Vertical Lift Performance (VLP) correlation. This approach involves error comparison of liquid rates and FBHP ranking for selected correlations, followed by validation. Further study, surface modeling is employed to analyze flow performance, with emphasis on pipeline inner diameter (ID) sensitivity for flow optimization under specific constraints. The research examines pressure drop profiles and investigates the sensitivity of separator pressure to determine optimal operating conditions. These analyses are conducted through systematic sensitivity studies of key parameters affecting flow characteristics.
