Indonesia is the third-largest oil producer country in Asia, after India. In 2020, PT Pertamina Gas started the replacement of the Rokan pipeline, Province of Riau, which has almost exceeded its design service life. Segment 3 of pipeline Rokan will be analysed since it includes a lot of crossing roads that the load of the vehicles passing through the road must be considered. In oil distribution using pipelines, several standards and codes must be complied with such as ASME B31.4 for pipeline transportation systems for liquids and slurries and API RP 1102 for steel pipelines crossing railroads and highways. The stress analysis that is done using CAESAR II intends to assurances the stress of Rokan pipeline that has been constructed are within the regulations that apply both internationally and nationally. In this final project, it was determined that the wall thickness calculation is adhered to the specification in ASME B36.10M, which is 0.5 in. Hydraulic analysis has also been carried out so that the fluid velocity based on the Rules of Thumb have been met by installing four shipping pumps in parallel. The Rokan Pipeline Segment 3 is safe from the road crossing loads based on API RP 1102 with the highest ratio of stress to the limit stress is 74.5%. The pipeline stress analysis has been carried out using CAESAR II to reassure that the pipeline meets the ASME B31.4 criteria with the highest ratio of stress to the allowable stress is 99.7% when the pipeline operates at design temperature and pressure.
