The study of alluvial deposit cocentrate on Kundur Estuary including the analysis of grain size and mineralogy of the grain on six sampling point at the west of Kundur Island The alluvial deposit dominated by sand, consist cassiterite as major mineral and the minor minerals are magnetite, hematite, monazite, pyrite, marcasite, xenotime, zircon, leucosen, limonite, pyroxene, amphibole, tourmaline, and guartz. Based on interpretation of the mineralogical characteristics, tin alluvial deposit at Kundur Estuary are by ancient river system that were transported near the source rock, and it ispredicted that the source of deposit materials is came from Kundur and surrounding islands.
