The promising business in retail IT industry has made people wanting to open business within this industry. These researches indicate an analysis of risk and profit in opening retail business with XYZ as the product. Notebook in now days had become a primary needs for those who works, study, and playing game -with so many function what a notebook can do combine with the internet connection that can unite all the people from around the world. The prospect of being official dealers of Sony compare to other brands will be the main issue why dealers choose Sony as their store brand and the competition among dealers also the issue that been rise in this research. There are several considerations in this research like marketing mix, PDB, five competitive forces as the literature in this research. Although competition between different brands also exist but Sony is playing in different segments only few of them who plays in the premium segment like XYZ. This research is using qualitative method using in depth interview direct with dealers owners. The reason using interview because with the past experience and what have dealers been through is the best source of analysis.
