This paper focuses on factors that affecting the growth of Small Medium Enterprise (SME). The aim was to identify the basic of startup SME growth because there was a growth barrier that was shown by the startup SME failure rates up to 90% in 18 years. The research uses the case study research that were prepared using the collection of primary data using multiple methods such as interviews, observations, and documents. Data analysis was holistic description and search for a single theme using the Breakthrough Model developed by McFarland.
