23 Chapter 3: Research Methodology 3.1. Research Design The research employed a structured plan to outline the progression of the study from initiation to completion. It elucidated the procedures for gathering, processing, and evaluating data to ascertain the intrinsic worth of PT. ECODU The analysis techniques employed encompassed the assessment of free cash flow to the firm and relative valuation in order to gauge the company's intrinsic value. Figure 3.1 provides a visual representation of the research process employed in this investigation. Figure 3. 1 Rearch Flow Diagram This research design aims to analyze how Ecodu Company manages and provides allowances to its employees, as well as the challenges the company faces in offering these 24 benefits without diminishing employee performance. Through this study, the goal is to identify key areas for improvement and develop effective solutions using a token economy. The design includes a literature review and a conceptual framework to guide the research process by examining relevant theories, literature, and models. After studying these elements, the researcher must understand the relationships between various factors, such as the objectives analysis, knowledge management framework, fishbone analysis, SECI model, the development of a Knowledge Management Roadmap and SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) is a software tool widely used for statistical analysis across various fields, particularly in the social sciences. It provides users with the ability to conduct a range of statistical analyses, such as regression, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and factor analysis. In addition to statistical processing, SPSS offers features for data management, creating visual representations like charts, and generating reports based on the analyzed data. This software is commonly utilized by researchers, academics, and professionals in areas like business and healthcare for quantitative data analysis and interpretation. The literature review and conceptual framework are integral components of the research design, serving as the foundation for this study. In the research design, data collection involves gathering relevant information to support the study. This includes conducting informal interviews with key stakeholders within the company, which allows for valuable insights to be gained from their perspectives and experiences. The analysis phase then incorporates several methods, including goal analysis using a Fishbone Diagram, the application of the SECI model, the development of a knowledge management framework, and the creation of a Knowledge Management Roadmap. These techniques facilitate the identification of root causes, the creation and sharing of knowledge, continuous learning, and the formulation of practical recommendations. The research design concludes with the identification of solutions, including the provision of allowances based on a token economy and the implementation of knowledge management initiatives to innovate the allowance system. These solutions, guided by the developed roadmap, are intended to be ready for use in formulating an allowance system aimed at enhancing employee performance.
