29 Chapter III Research Methodology The third chapter will provide an explanation of the research design, data collection, and data analysis. This chapter will lay the foundation for comprehensive and reliable research. Research methodology will outline the research design consisting of mixed-methods, data collection techniques that will support the process, and the analysis method that will be used in order to transform the information obtained into a meaningful insight. III. 1 Research Design Figure III. 1 Research Design 30 The research design that has been formulated (Fig. III.1) will combine the elements of quantitative and qualitative methods or the mixed-methods. The mixed methods integrate quantitative and qualitative research methods to achieve greater insights (Mixed Methods Research, 2023). This method may increase the reliability and validity of the research conducted. This research design serves as a roadmap that outlines the methodology in order to address the research questions. II.1. 1 Qualitative Research Qualitative data refers to both nominal and descriptive non-numerical information that cannot be expressed as numbers. It primarily involves data related to feelings, perceptions, and emotions and is gathered through unstructured methods like interviews to ensure a comprehensive exploration of the subject under study (West & Taherdoost, 2021). Qualitative research is a type of research that explores and provides deeper insights into real-world problems (Moser, 2017).
