The current recruitment of outsource surveyors at PT. IMOS Indonesia cannot be separated from the concept of social networking which is generally widely used by other independent surveyor companies, especially in the marine sector, resulting in a lack of added value in competition in the marine surveyor industry. Based on the concept of social networking, the surveyor recruitment process at PT. IMOS Indonesia shows the type of social relationship that is bound on the basis of friendship and kinship. 2. In getting a survey project at PT. IMOS Indonesia has several processes that are quite long and require approval from certain parties, starting from the ship owner who will make contact with marine assurance, that marine insurance will try to contact the local correspondent, and then the local correspondent will appoint the company PT. IMOS Indonesia to conduct surveys according to the needs of the ship. 3. The outsource surveyor recruitment process occurred because of a request for a survey project in a new area that had never been carried out by PT. IMOS Indonesia, or the absence of existing surveyors from the Internal Surveyor Database at PT. IMOS Indonesia to carry out their duties. The minimum number of people involved in the recruitment process is due to a large number of employees from PT.
