ABSTRACT The prosperity of any organization relies generally on the employee’s qualities, capabilities, and skills, which can be measured by their performance. On February 1, 2021 Indonesia's three state-owned sharia banks, PT Bank Syariah Mandiri, PT Bank Negara Indonesia Syariah and PT BRISyariah officially merged their sharia banking unit to become a new entity, namely PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk. Subsequent to the changes that have been made since the mergers, maintaining high employee performance is critical as well as understanding what factors that can enhance employee’s performance. In this research, authors assume that work motivation and organizational culture can have a good impact on employee performance in the post- merger of three state-owned sharia banks. Therefore, to prove it, researcher try to conduct research to deepen the understanding of the impact of work motivation and organizational culture on PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia as well understanding the impact of mergers and its implications on employees. Work motivation emphasize on intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation. For the organizational culture, the researcher try to align the three sharia banks’s organizational culture generated from the annual report to the primary characteristics namely, Adaptability, Results Orientation, People Orientation, Collaboration Orientation, and Integrity. Methodology used is quantitative by distributing questionnaires to collect the data of 100 employees from Bank Syariah Indonesia which then analyzed with multiple linear regression. The result shows work motivation and organizational culture has significant influence on employee performance of Bank Syariah Indonesia in post-merger of sharia banks in Indonesia. Therefore, in order to enhance the employee performance, Bank Syariah Indonesia needs to maintain employee’s work motivation as well as to create and implement their new organizational culture that will integrate and unifies all of the values to their employees to build a synergistic cooperation in the company. ABSTRAKSI Keberhasilan suatu organisasi pada umumnya terletak pada kualitas, kemampuan, dan keterampilan karyawan, yang dapat diukur dari kinerjanya. Pada 1 Februari 2021, tiga bank syariah milik negara di Indonesia, PT Bank Syariah Mandiri, PT Bank Negara Indonesia Syariah dan PT BRISyariah resmi menggabungkan unit perbankan syariah menjadi satu entitas baru, yaitu PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk. Mengikuti perubahan yang telah dilakukan sejak merger, mempertahankan kinerja karyawan yang tinggi sangat penting serta Bank Syariah Indonesia harus memahami faktor-faktor apa yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan nya. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis berasumsi bahwa motivasi kerja dan budaya organisasi dapat memberikan pengaruh yang baik terhadap kinerja karyawan pasca merger tiga bank syariah Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN). Oleh karena itu, untuk membuktikannya, peneliti mencoba melakukan analisis untuk memperdalam pemahaman tentang pengaruh motivasi kerja dan budaya organisasi pada kinerja karyawan di PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia serta memahami pengaruh merger dan implikasinya pada kinerja karyawan.
