The research was conducted were studied at Tegalgondo research farm in Karangploso Malang at farm with; pH (H2O) = 6,9; pH (KCl) = 6,3; organic = 1,85 %; C organic = 1,07 %; N total = 0,17 %; C/N = 6; P Olsen = 12,92 mg kg-1; K = 1,78 me/100g, from November to December 2003. A factorial research using Randomized Block Design with three replicates was used. The treatments consisted of three levels of sort organic (no organik matter, azolla as a green manure 10 t/ hektar and dirt of chicken manure 10 t/ hektar) and dosage of phosphate fertilizer of four levels (45, 90, 135 and 180 kg/ hektar P2O5 (TSP)). The result to research show that need optimal phosphor of shallot varietes Philipine was dirt of chicken manure 10 t/hektar and 90 kg/hektar P2O5 (TSP).
Percobaan dilaksanakan di lahan sawah Desa Tegalgondo Kecamatan Karangploso, Malang, dengan pH (H2O) = 6,9; pH (KCl) = 6,3; organik = 1,85 %; C organik = 1,07 %; N total = 0,17 %; C/N = 6; P Olsen = 12,92 mg kg-1; K = 1,78 me/100g, pada bulan Oktober sampai Desember 2002. Percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dan diulang tiga kali, yang terdiri dari 3 taraf jenis bahan organik (Tanpa bahan organik, Kompos azolla 10 ton/ha dan Pupuk kandang ayam 10 ton/ha) dan 4 taraf dosis pemupukan fosfat (45, 90, 135 dan 180 kg/ha P2O5 (TSP)). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kebutuhan fosfor optimal pada tanaman bawang merah varietas Philipine yaitu penambahan pupuk kandang ayam 10 t/ha dan 90 kg/ha P2O5 (TSP).
