Sebagian lahan kelapa sawit milik PT. Lestari Tani Teladan mengalami erosi akibat adanya gerusan tebing Sungai Lariang. Gerusan terjadi karena kecepatan aliran sungai melebihi kecepatan maksimum yang diijinkan untuk tebing tererosi. Jika gerusan terus dibiarkan, perusahaan akan mengalami kerugian karena kehilangan lahan. Untuk melindungi tebing sungai dari gerusan dan

mengembalikan tebing sungai yang tergerus, dibangun perlindungan gerusan tebing sungai, yaitu krib. Krib disimulasikan pada Sungai Lariang menggunakan software

SMS 8.1 dengan membuat delapan alternatif berupa kombinasi penempatan krib dan optimalisasi sungai. Alternatif terbaik dipilih dengan cara optimasi hasil

simulasi dari segi teknis dan biaya. Sebanyak 15 krib didesain dengan tipe blok beton (A-Jack) dan ditempatkan pada tikungan luar tebing Sungai Lariang yang merupakan lahan PT. Lestari Tani Teladan. Krib bekerja dengan baik menurunkan kecepatan aliran pada sekitar tebing Sungai Lariang sehingga lebih kecil dari kecepatan maksimum aliran yang diijinkan.

Deskripsi Alternatif :

A part of palm plantation land belongs to PT. Lestari Tani Teladan has been getting eroded as cause of scouring in Lariang Riverbank. Scouring happens

because of river-flow velocity exceeds the maximum permissible velocity (the nonerodible velocity). If the scouring continues, than the company will face certain

losses due to the land loss. To protect the riverbank from scouring and to restore the eroded riverbank, it needs to be built protection of the riverbank which is the groyne. The groynes is simulated at Lariang Riverbank using SMS 8.1 software by making eight alternatives in form of the groynes placement combination and river optimization. The best alternative would be chosen by means of optimization of the simulation results from technical terms and costs. A total of 15 groynes is designed with concrete block type (A-Jacks) and placed on outer bend of Lariang Riverbank

which is the land belongs to PT. Lestari Tani Teladan. The groynes works well to decrease the flow velocity around the Lariang Riverbank until it is less than the

maximum permissible velocity.
