This analysis presents dividend payout ratio in Indonesia's mining companies. Nowadays, the existence of mining sector is very important to run the economy of Indonesia. The benefit from mining companies can be seen from the amount of dividend that quite big that received by their shareholders. With the potential in the mining sector, Indonesia has mining company that own by government (BUMN) and private. Both type of owner, have good performance if it seen from their earning and also dividend payment. The writer was interest in dividend policy in mining companies. Then the writer was analyze whether there are any differences in dividend payout ratio between BUMN mining companies and private mining companies, also the factors that influence the dividend payout ratio in BUMN and private mining companies.
