Cilegon merupakan salah satu kota di Jawa Barat yang mengalami perkembangan industrialisasi yang cukup pesat. Keberadaan berbagai industri dan aktivitas transportasi di Cilegon dapat menjadi potensi sumber emisi polutan khususnya partikulat. Menurunnya kualitas udara akibat emisi partikulat ini dirasakan oleh masyarakat sekitar kawasan industri yang ada di Cilegon terutama yang tinggal disekitar kawasan industri besi dan baja. Namun studi tentang identifikasi sumber emisi partikulat dan kontribusinya terhadap kualitas udara ambient dikawasan

tersebut belum pernah dilakukan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi sumber emisi partikulat khususnya TSP dan mengetahui kontribusinya terhadap

konsentrasi TSP di udara ambient di kawasan tersebut menggunakan model reseptor Positive Matrix Factorization (PMF). Sebanyak 34 sampel harian (24 jam) dikumpulkan selama periode pengambilan sampel (Agustus-November 2015) dari daerah pemukiman warga yang ada di bagian selatan dari kawasan industri besi dan baja di Cilegon menggunakan alat High Volume Sampler. Analisis kandungan

lack Carbon pada sampel dilakukan menggunakan alat Diffusion Systems EEL 43M Smoke Stain Reflectometer (SSR) sedangkan 18 elemen logam (Al, Si, Fe, S, Cu, Pb, V, Cr, Ni, Zn, Mn, Sn, K, Ca, Cl, Ti, Ba dan Co) dianalisis menggunakan alat Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence (ED-XRF). Data komposisi kimia dari sampel harian TSP tersebut kemudian digunakan sebagai input model PMF. Sumber emisi yang teridentifikasi dari hasil model PMF adalah crustal matter (40.13%), produksi besi dan baja (22.23%), pembakaran batubara (16.54%),

pembakaran biomassa (11.83%), aktivitas smelting (8.63%), kendaraan berbahan bakar solar (0.28%), garam laut (0.17%), pembakaran minyak (0.07%), debu jalan

(0.07%) dan industri semen/aktivitas konstruksi (0.05%). Pola analisis CPF sesuai dengan lokasi sumber emisi yang terdapat di sekitar lokasi penelitian.

Deskripsi Alternatif :

Cilegon is one of a rapidly growing industrial city in West Java. The existence of various industries and transportation activity in Cilegon can be a potential sources of particulate emissions. The decreased of air quality was perceived by the community around industrial areas in Cilegon, especially whose living around the

iron and steel industry. However, studies about identification of emissions source and its contribution to the ambient air quality in this region has not been done. This study was conducted to identify the source of particulate emissions in particular TSP and determine its contribution to the TSP concentration in ambient air using Positive Matrix Factorization (PMF) receptor model. A total of 34 daily sampling (24 hours) was collected during sampling period (August-November 2015) from a residential area in the southern of iron and steel industry region in Cilegon using a High Volume Sampler. Analysis of Black Carbon in the samples was performed using Diffusion Systems EEL 43m Smoke Stain Reflectometer (SSR) while 18 metal elements (Al, Si, Fe, S, Cu, Pb, V, Cr, Ni, Zn, Mn, Sn, K, Ca, Cl, Ti, Ba and Co) was analyzed using Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence (ED-XRF). Chemical composition data of TSP daily samples was used as input for the PMF. The

identified emission sources from PMF result are crustal matter (40.13%), iron and steel production (22.23%), coal combustion (16.54%), biomass burning (11.83%),

smelting (8.63%), diesel vehicle (0.28%), sea salt (0.17%), fuel-oil combustion (0.07%), road dust (0.07%) and cement industry /construction (0.05%). The pattern

conditional probability function analysis were accordance with the locations of the known sources around study location.
