ABSTRAK:

Career Development Center (CDC) Institut Teknologi Bandung adalah suatu lembaga yang menjalankan fimgsi pengembangan karir, dengan nisi "menjembatani dunia perguruan tinggi dengan masyarakat pengguna dan iulusan", dalam menjalankan fungsi pelayanan pengembangan karir CDC dibagi dalam dua divisi yaitu divisi pelatihan dan divisi e-Cruitment.
Latar belakang dari studi ini adalah keinginan dari pihak CDC untuk menata ulang proses-proses bisnisnya sehingga menjadi suatu lembaga career center yang profesional dan menjadi leader dalam bidangnya.


Dalam menata ulang proses-proses bisnis di CDC metodologi yang digunakan adalah pendekatan systematic redisign of an existing business process berbasis pads business process reengineering.
Untuk mencapai fungsi pelayanan pengembangan karir yang profesional, studi ini mengkaji proses awal dan menata proses-proses bisnis yang baik dalam bentuk usulan. Untuk itu beberapa pertimbangan yang perlu dikaji dan dicari pemecahannya adalah : proses aliran dana (flow of money), proses pelayanan jasa divisi pelatihan dan e-Cruitment serta proses aliran informasi antar bagian (internal) dan aliran informasi eksternal (network) .


Kelemahan-kelemahan pokok proses bisnis selama ini adalah proses yang belum terintegrssi dikarenakan masih banyak peluang yang belum dimanfaatkan oleh CDC, serta mekanisme dan prosedur yang telah ada belum memilild standar operasional yang memiliki acuan baku bagi proses kerja yang dijalankan
Hasil dan studi ini adalah bentuk mekanisme dan prosedur kerja ym. Profesional dan terintegrasi, perancangan manajemen keualotr a0dar ,pembuatan modul-modul pelatihan, format pelayanan berbas7 Rk=epniasan pelanggan, Pembentukan Divisi Assessment, Merancang deli Description dan gugus kerja kepanitiaan serta rencana implementasi Global Link Career Center dan langkah kedepan CDC dapat menjedi suatu strategic business unit


Untuk keberhasilan usulan perbaikan tersebut dibutuhkan dukungan dad semua pihak khususnya rektor dan lembaga-lembaga terkait untuk Baling membantu dan mempromosikan akan keberadaaan dan pet - CDt ITB ke masyarakat setts menjalankan manajemen proaktif sehingga pengembangan jaringan dan peran CDC dengan pembentukan Global Link Career Center. Menjadikan CDC sebagai leader of career center di Indonesia.

Bandung Institute of Technology's Career Development Center (CDC) is an institution that runs the function of career development, with the mission : "To bridge between the world of higher education with the public users and graduates. In performing its function in the service of career building CDC is devided into two division, which are the training and e-Cruitment division.
The Background of this study is the wishes from the part of CDC to rearrange its business process to become a profesional career development center institution and become a leader in its field.
In re-arranging the business process in CDC , the methodology used is the systematic redesign of an existing business process approach based on business process reengineering.



To reach its profesional career development service function this study will examine the starting process and arrange a good business process in the form of suggestion, for that some consideration that must be studied and found its solutions for are : Flow of Service, Flow of Information and Flow of Money.
The main weaknesess of the old business process are procesess that are not yet integrated caused there are opportunities that had not been utilized by CDC , also to existing mechanism and procedure that not have an operational standard as a fix reference for the work process being done.
The result of this study is a form of profesional and integrated mechanism and work procedure, standar financial management planning, making a training modules, format of customer satisfaction based service, planning of committee job description and work cluster in addition to the implementation of the global link career center plan.


and for the future steps the CDC can to be a strategic business unit.
For the success of these suggestion for improvement, support from all side especially from the rector and related institution in ITB to mutually assist and promote the existance and role of CDC ITB, to the public and operate a proactive management , so the network expansion and CDC's role through the formation of Global link career center will make CDC a leader of career center in Indonesia.
