The sports activities taking place in hihger education are expected to lead to the improvement in quality of its graduates and to healthy body and mind thus making then participate heavily in their profession, as well as encouraging them to be more productive.
The above mentioned expectations are in accordance with arnolds clim ( Sidi: 1992) that an improvement in higher educatiin students sport ability will echance their academic achievements, as well as form "healthy" personality.
The result of the data analysis between the healthy body of both athlete-students and non athlete students showed a correlation, thought it falls under the low category.
The conclusion that can be draw from the analysis is that role of "very" helathy body in improving the cumulative academic achievents is not significant. Hence it is believed that helthy body is not the only factor that influence the cumulative academic achievements but factors but factors such as I.Q., learning intesively, and other external factors certainly play their par.
