EVALUASI HASIL PELEDAKAN TANAH PENUTUP DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEEFEKTIFAN PELEDAKAN DI PIT A - BENGALON COAL PROJECT, PT. "X"

Lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan pada daerah operasi penambangan PT. X di Pit A, Bengalon Coal Project Kalimantan Timur. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah pertama untuk melakukan evaluasi terhadap hasil peledakan yang dilakukan oleh PT. X yang mencakup distribusi ukuran fragmen batuan hasil peledakan yang dinyatakan dalam P80 yaitu ukuran fragmen batuan hasil peledakan yang lolos ayakan sebanyak 80% dari keseluruhan fragmen. Kedua, mengukur tingkat produktivitas alat gali muat berdasarkan blasted material. Ketiga, memprediksi ukuran P80 optimum berdasarkan tipe alat gali muat yang digunakan dan keempat, menentukan nilai Powder Factor (PF) optimum. Penentuan tujuan ini dikelompokkan berdasarkan tipe alat gali muat yang digunakan yaitu backhoe tipe Terex O&K RH 340, Hitachi 3600 serta shovel tipe Hitachi 5500. Distribusi fragmen batuan hasil peledakan diperoleh dari perhitungan yang dilakukan program Split Desktop terhadap gambar foto digital batuan yang menggunakan dua buah skala pembanding berupa bola dengan diameter 21 cm. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh distribusi ukuran fragmen batuan hasil peledakan : < 20 cm = 51.25%, 20 cm-40cm = 33.85% dan > 40 cm = 14.90%. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran cycle time alat gali muat diperoleh nilai produktivitas Terex RH 340 = 1202 bcm/jam, Hitachi 5500 = 1210 bcm/jam, dan Hitachi 3600 = 889 bcm/jam. Penentuan nilai P80 optimum dan PF optimum diperoleh berdasarkan grafik hubungan antara nilai P80, PF aktual dan nilai 1/Produktivitas alat gali muat. Nilai 1/Produktivitas ini menggambarkan biaya yang dikeluarkan dalam produksi. Dari grafik perhitungan dan analisis maka nilai P80 optimum untuk masing-masing alat gali muat adalah Terex RH 340 = 271mm, Hitachi 5500 = 267 mm, dan Hitachi 3600 = 365 mm. PF optimum rata-rata yang disarankan untuk peledakan yang dilakukan di Pit A, BCP adalah 0.32 kg/bcm (melebihi PF rencana yaitu 0.3 kg/bcm).

Deskripsi Alternatif :

The research project was conducted at PT. X in Pit A, Bengalon Coal Project, East Kalimantan. The purpose of the research is to evaluate blasting result done by PT. X covering size distribution of rock fragmentation in term of P80-size of rock fragmentation from blasting which passes the mesh 80% of all fragmentation in quantity. The research is also to estimate the productivity of a digger based on the volume of blasted material, to predict the size of optimum P80 based on type of a digger operated and to determine the value of the optimum Powder Factor (PF). Determination of those four purposes is categorized based on the digger operated (Backhoe, Terex O&K RH 340, Hitachi 3600 and Shovel Hitachi 5500). Distribution of rock fragmentation was obtained from Split Desktop calculation-a program which uses digital picture to compare rock fragmentation and a 21 cm diameter scaling-ball in order to obtain the size distribution of rock fragmentation. From calculation, it can be obtained the distribution of rock fragment size, i.e. <20cm = 51.25%, 20cm – 40cm = 33.85% and >40cm = 14.90%. Based on its cycle time, the productivity of each digger is 1202 BCM per hour for Terex RH 340, 1210 BCM per hour for Hitachi 5500, and 889 BCM per hour for Hitachi 3600. Determination the value of optimum P80 and optimum PF was conducted based on graph relating the P80 value, Actual PF and Vale of 1 per productivity of the digger. The value of 1 per productivity describes cost spent in production. From the graph and analysis, the optimum size distribution of rock fragmentation for each digger is 271 mm, for Terex RH 340, 267 mm fro Hitachi 5500, and 365 mm for Hitachi 3600. The average optimum PF recommended for blasting in Pit A, Bengalon Coal Project, East Kalimantan, is 0.32 kg per bcm (which exceeds the PF planned of 0.3 kg per bcm).
