Lapangan Tanjung Miring Timur merupakan lapangan produksi minyak bumi tua yang berada pada tahap menurunnya produksi. Usaha pemboran infill dilakukan dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan produksi. Untuk mencapai target ini diperlukan pemetaan berdasarkan data seismik 2D dan sumur yang telah ada. Tujuannya adalah untuk membuat model geologi distribusi dari reservoir batupasir dalam usaha untuk mengidentifikasikan sumur –sumur produksi yang akan dilakukan workover atau menentukan calon lokasi sumur infill berikutnya, juga untuk mengetahui cadangan yang sisa.




Ketersedian data berupa data seismik yang telah dilakukan reprossesing PSTM (Post Stack Time Migration) untuk meningkatkan kualitas gambar dan data 47 sumur yang kebanyakan adalah sumur produksi.




Tujuan dari pengguanan metoda geostatistik dan seismik inversi adalah untuk memprediksi distribusi batupasir Talangakar Atas. Berdasarkan analisis plot silang, log densitas dan log sonic dapat digunakan untuk membedakan batupasir dan serpih. Hasil dari analisis inversi model based menunjukan hasil korelasi baik sebesar 99,4%.




Permodelan seismik inversi dan geostatistik menghasilkan suatu model batupasir dengan orientasi Baratlaut-Tenggara yang mencerminkan struktur NE-SW. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi risiko kegagalan dalam penentuan lokasi bypass oil dengan tujuan meningkatkan produksi.

Deskripsi Alternatif :

Tanjung Miring is a mature, producing oilfield with reservoirs mostly at depletion stage. However, it was expected that production could still be increased through drilling infill wells to recover oil of bypassed reservoirs. To accomplish this goal, re-mapping based on available 2D seismic and well data were carried out. The results were used to construct geological model of reservoir distribution in an effort to identify future re-completion, workover and infill candidates, development drilling potentials, and also to ascertain remaining reserves.




Available multi vintage seismic data were reprocessed Post Stack Time Migration (PSTM) with common processing parameters to improve seismic ties and imaging. In addition data of 47 wells, most of them producing, were also available.




The aim of seismic inversion modeling in this reaserch is to predict the lateral and vertical distribution of Talangakar sandstone. Crossplot analysis was resulted that density and sonic log can discriminate between sand and shale. The model based inversion analysis has resulted 99.4% correlation.




The seismic inversion modeling and geostatistic analysis has resulted into a model of the Talangakar sandstone with northwest-southeast orientation. The result of this study is aimed to reduce the risk in selecting and locating the bypassed oil area for candidate infill well to be drilled and increasing the oil production.
