Prosedur praktikum untuk analisis ion besi(II) dengan metode permanganometri telah dibuat berdasarkan penelitian pada tiga sampel garam besi(II) dan dua sampel oksida besi(III). Kadar ion besi(II) dari (NH4)2Fe(SO4)2.6H2O adalah 14,10 %, dari FeCl2.4H2O adalah 30,26 %, dan dari FeC2O4.2H2O adalah 30,68 %. Pada sampel oksida, ion besi(III) direduksi dengan reduktor SnCl2 dan logam seng. Kadar besi dari Fe2O3 adalah 69,63 % dan dari LaFeO3 adalah 23,43 %. Dari hasil tersebut diperoleh ketelitian lebih dari 98 %. Adapun prosedur praktikum yang telah disusun adalah (1) Penentuan kadar besi dari FeCl2.4H2O, (2) Penentuan kadar besi dalam FeC2O4.2H2O, (3) Penentuan kadar besi dari Fe2O3 dengan reduktor SnCl2, dan (4) Penentuan kadar besi dari LaFeO3 dengan reduktor logam seng.

Description Alternative :

The procedures for iron(II) analysis have been prepared based on the research of three iron(II) salts and two iron(III) oxides using permanganometric titration. The iron contents from (NH4)2Fe(SO4)2.6H2O, FeCl2.4H2O and FeC2O4.2H2O are 14.10%, 30,26 % and 30.68% respectively. While from Fe2O3 and LaFeO3 are 69.63% and 23,43 % respectively. The accuracy of analysis results for all samples are more than 98 %. There are four analysis procedures have been prepared : (1) Determination or iron content from FeCl2.4H2O, (2) Determination or iron content from FeC2O4.2H2O, (3) Determination or iron content from Fe2O3 using SnCl2 as a reductor, and (4) Determination or iron content from LaFeO3 using zinc metal as a reductor.
