Gejala penurunan produksi merupakan hal yang umum terjadi pada suatu lapangan gas, hal ini disebabkan penipisan cadangan dan berkurangnya tekanan reservoir. Penurunan produksi juga berhubungan dengan batas ekonomis (biaya produksi dan permintaan) sehingga jika suatu sumur atau lapangan telah mencapai nilai batas ekonomis maka perlu dilakukan penutupan atau pembiaran. Tinjauan mengenai penurunan performa produksi suatu sumur atau lapangan dapat dilihat dari dua segmen yakni kecenderungan penurunan laju alir gas dan kecenderungan penurunan tekanan reservoir. Secara statistik, penurunan produksi dapat dijelaskan dengan model penurunan Arps berdasarkan perubahan laju alir gas terhadap waktu dan hubungan produksi kumulatif dengan laju alir gas. Penjelasan mengenai penurunan performa produksi juga dapat ditinjau melalui perubahan tekanan alir, hal ini dipaparkan melalui Inflow Performance dan Tubing Performance. Dengan kedua segmen pembahasan tersebut diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran komprehensif mengenai gejala penurunan produksi suatu sumur atau lapangan gas.

Deskripsi Alternatif :

The indication of production decline is a common thing that happened in one gas field, this phenomenon is due to reserves depletion and decreasing of reservoir’s pressure. The production decline is also related to an economic limit (production costs and demands) so when a well or field is reachs an economic limit value, that could be considered to be plugged or abandoned. The observation of well or field production performance drops can be seen by two segments, those are decreasing of gas flow rate trend and reservoir’s pressure drop trend. Statistically, production decline can be explained by Arps’s production decline models based on the variation of gas flow rate over time and the relation of cummulative production with time. The explanation of production performance’s drop can also be described by variation of flow pressure, this can be presented through Inflow Performance and Tubing Performance. By these two segments can be expected to give a comprehensive views about production decline indication of well or gas field.
