Kondisi wilayah Jatigede pasca pembangunan waduk mengalami perubahan yang berdampak pada lingkungan sekitar. Salah satu perubahan terjadi pada petak 2.4i di kawasan Hutan Tanaman Pinus (Pinus merkusii Jungh et de Vriese) Perum Perhutani, yaitu kawasan yang berada sekitar 500 m dari bibir waduk. Kawasan ini perlu dikaji ulang untuk menghitung potensi tegakan Pinus yang masih tersimpan di areal penelitian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan tabel volume, model penduga volume terbaik, dan menentukan nilai biomassa total serta cadangan karbon yang tersimpan di areal Perhutani sekitar kawasan Waduk Jatigede. Tabel volume digunakan untuk menaksir nilai volume aktual. Tabel volume batang jenis Pinus merkusii disusun berdasarkan data hasil pengukuran diameter per-seksi (per 1 meter) di lapangan dengan teknik purposive sampling, menggunakan instrumen Spiegel Relascope Bitterlich dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 66 pohon model. Selanjutnya disusun 5 model persamaan regresi berdasarkan peubah bebas diameter (D). Model terbaik dipilih berdasarkan koefisien determinasi (R2), kesalahan baku (SE), simpangan agregat (SA) dan simpangan rataan (SR). Hasil dari penelitian didapatkan model penduga volume menurut Bustomi et al. (1998) yaitu V= -2,257 + 1,916 log D dengan koefisien determinasi (R2) 0,9892, kesalahan baku (SE) 0,0148, simpangan agregat (SA) 0,005, dan simpangan rataan (SR) 0,008. Nilai biomasa, simpanan karbon yang tersimpan dan CO2 ekivalen pada areal penelitian masing-masing sebesar 952,451 ton, 447,652 ton, dan 1641,39 ton.

Deskripsi Alternatif :

The condition of Jatigede reservoir after the construction there is an impact changes on the surrounding environment. One of the changes occurred in the 2.4i plot in Perum Perhutani Pine Plantation area, which is about 500 m from the border of reservoir. This change needs to be reviewed to determine the potential of Pine plantations that are still stored in the study area. This study is aimed to produce the best volume estimation tables, volume estimates, and determine the total biomass value and carbon stock stored in the research area. The volume table is used to estimate the actual volume value. Table of stem volume of Pinus type (Pinus merkusii Jungh et de Vriese) was prepared based on data of measurement diameter per-section (per 1 meter) in field with purposive sampling technique using Spiegel Relascope Bitterlich instrument with total sample of 66 model trees. Subsequently 5 models of regression equations were prepared based on the free variables of diameter. The best model is chosen based on the coefficient of determination (R2), standard error (SE), aggregate deviation (SA) and average deviation (SR). The result of the research yielded the model of volume estimator V= -2,257 + 1,916 log D with coefficient of determination (R2) 0,9892, standard error (SE) 0,0148, aggregate deviation (SA) 0,005, and average deviation (SR) 0,008. The value of biomass, carbon stock stored and CO2 equivalent in the study area were 952,451 tons, 447,652 tons, and 1641,39 tons.
