ABSTRAK:


Menghaclapi era persaingan yang semakin ketat, setiap perusahaan akan berusaha untuk tetap bertahan dalam kompetisi tersebut. PT. Dwipapuri Asri sebagai salah satu industri furnitur di Indonesia tidak terlepas dari persaingan persaingan tersebut, balk yang berasal dari dalam negeri tetapi juga yang berasal Bari luar negeri.


PT. Dwipapuri asri yang menggunakan brand Sigma sebagai merk produknya tentunya harus selalu konsisten dalam memenuhi pesanan Bari konsumen dengan tepat waktu. Perusahaan mempunyai ciri yaitu make to order process karena produksinya bersifat job order.


Ketidaksesuaian antara jadwal produksi dengan realisasi di shop floor menyebabkan sering kali terjadi keterlambatan dalam pengiriman produk jadi. Hal ini yang mendorong penulis untuk melakukan penelitian lebih jauh mengenai faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya perbedaan antara jadwal produksi yang telah ditetapkan dengan produksi yang dihasilkan di shop floor.


Pengan membandingakan jadwal produksi secara teoritis dan jadwal produksi aktual maka akan diketahui berapa lama terjadi keterlambatan. Dengan mengamati dan melakukan wawancara dengan pihak manajemen maupun dengan para pekerja di pabrik maka secara umum dapat diketahui penyebab terjadinya perbedaan tersebut.


Penulis berusaha untuk memberikan gambaran dari hasil pengamatan dan wawancara tersebut dengan merangkum dan menyajikannya dalam bentuk diagram tulang ikan. Metoda ini memang bukan yang terbaik tetapi cukup mudah untuk dipahami.


Mengacu pada hasil evaluasi tersebut penulis memberikan saran-saran dan langkah-langkah perbaikan yang diharapkan akan membantu pihak menajemen menghadapi masalah yang terjadi di perusahaan.

ABSTRACT:


Stepping in tough competion, every company will try to survive PT. Dwipapuri Asri, one of the Indonesian furniture industries has to face the competion even from local and foreign competitor.


Using brand Sigma as product brand, PT. Dwipapuri Asri has to be consistent to fulfill the order from the customer in time. Make to order process is the chracteristic of the company because the production is based on job order.


Unproperly schedule between production schedule and realization often makes delay in product delivery. Inspired by this matter, the author intended to conduct research about factors that makes that variance.


By comparing theoritical production schedule and actual production schedule we can see how much delay happened. Dy observing and interviewing the management and worker, we can know the reason of the delay.


The author tries to describe the observation and the interview by summarize and serve it with fishbone diagram. Fishbone diagram is not the best method but it quite easy to be understand.


Pased on the evaluation, the author intended to aid management by give them alternatives suggestions. The author hoped that suggestion made the management could handle the issues easier.
