Lindi adalah cairan yang timbul sebagai limbah akibat masuknya air eksternal ke dalam timbunan sampah, khususnya pada Tempat Pemrosesan Akhir (TPA). Sehingga menjadi permasalahan bagi lingkungan khususnya untuk air permukaan dan air tanah. Lokasi Tugas Akhir ini berada di TPA Kaliabu yang menggunakan metode controlled landfill. Namun, TPA Kaliabu belum dilengkapi instalasi pengolahan lindi. Tujuan dari perancangan ini adalah menyusun evaluasi terhadap penanganan masalah lindi di TPA Kaliabu, membuat dan menentukan detail perancangan sistem pengolahan lindi di TPA Kaliabu, dan menganalisa biaya yang dibutuhkan dalam perancangan dan pengoperasian sistem pengolahanlindi.Metodologi perancangan dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data yang berhubungan dengan perancangan sistem pengolahan lindi, serta menganalisis karakteristik dan kualitas lindi yang ditimbulkan TPA Kaliabu. Selain itu,melakukan desain sistem pengolahan lindi menggunakan standard gambar teknik meliputi kriteria desain pengolahan, perhitungan dimensi unit-unit pengolahan, spesifikasi teknis dan alat-alat yang diperlukan disetiap unit pengolahan, serta perhitungan rencana anggaran biaya konstruksi dan operasional sistem pengolahan lindi. Dibutuhkan analisis timbulan sampah, timbulan lindi, kualitas lindi (pH, BOD, COD, TSS, dan konduktiviti) dan debit lindi yang dihasilkan, sehingga dapat merencanakan unit-unit pengolahan lindi. Unit-unit yang dirancang adalah kolam anaerob, kolam fakultatif, kolam aerob dan wetland.

Deskripsi Alternatif :

a liquid waste arising as a result of the entry of external water into the landfill waste, in particular on the Final Disposal(FD).So it becomes a problem for the environment, especially for surface water and groundwater. The location of the final assignment is in the Kaliabu Final Disposal using the method of controlled landfills. However, Kaliabu FD haven’t leachate treatment plant. The purpose of this design is drawing up evaluation of the handling of the issue of leachate at Kaliabu FD, create and define the detail engineering design of leachate treatment systems at Kaliabu FD, and analyze the cost required in the design and operation of leachate treatment systems. Methodology the design done by collecting data related to the design of processing system of leachate, and analyze characteristics and quality of leachate generated Kaliabu FD. In addition, design of processing leachate system using standard engineering drawings include design criteria of processing, calculation of the dimensions of the processing units, technical specifications and tools required at each processing unit, as well as the calculation of the budget plan construction costs and operational leachate treatment systems. In analyzing the waste generation, the generation of leachate, leachate quality (pH, BOD, COD, TSS, and conductivity) and water discharge leachate generated so that can plan leachate treatment units. The units are designed is an anaerobic pond, facultative pond, aerobic pond and wetland.
